Clinical Research Project Status Tool
Provides University research teams with a dashboard for clinical research studies making it possible to view data from OnCore Clinical Trial Management System, ETHOS, EFS, CTR Portal and ClinicalTrials.gov all in one place.

Electronic data capture (EDC) tool
Manage study data while maintaining 21 CFR Part 11 compliance with Advarra EDC, an electronic data capture tool. The tool is ideal for investigator-initiated, FDA-regulated studies, or researchers who want greater integration with the OnCore clinical trial management system (CTMS).

Florence eBinders
This tool replaces paper forms and physical binders for study management, giving research teams an efficient, compliant way to electronically sign, manage, store, and collaborate on study documents.

Printing Services
Provides printing, copying, and design services for creating stationery, handouts, and other communications documents. Printing Services has a thorough understanding of University branding policies.

Addressing and Mailing Services
Addressing & Mailing Services at the University is available to handle small or large on-campus or off-campus mass mailings; services include mailing-list maintenance, label generation, machine or hand labeling and inserting, ink jet addressing, weighing and metering, and delivery to the post office.

Signs and Graphics Unit
Offers the latest technology in digital printing, including custom banners and signage, name tags and rental of table top displays for conferences and events.

OnCore clinical trial management system (CTMS)
University research teams and administrative staff use OnCore to manage studies, electronically capture and monitor data, generate reports, handle financial activities, and adhere to regulations.

The OnCore Study Entry service can save you time by entering studies or protocols into OnCore, ensuring required fields have been completed. 

Office of Information Technology (OIT) Technology Training
A list of online and in-person software and hardware course offerings available to University students, faculty, and staff from OIT.

REDCap
A secure, HIPAA compliant, web-based system designed for data collection for research. REDCap training and support is offered by the Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) and is available at no cost to current University students, faculty, and staff.

REDCap’s electronic consent (eConsent) capabilities allow UMN researchers to collect participant signatures electronically via online surveys. This helps researchers obtain informed consent in a way that’s efficient, safe, and compliant—including with FDA 21 CFR Part 11—without the use of paper forms.
