CTSI’s Office of Community Engagement to Advance Research and Community Health (CEARCH) has awarded four teams Community Health Collaborative Pilot Grants for 2020. This is the tenth year that CEARCH has awarded grants to support research collaborations between the community and University of Minnesota.
These grants are designed to encourage community-initiated research and foster sustainable, long-term collaboration between community-based organizations and academic researchers on research projects that address important health issues identified by Minnesota communities. Proposals are reviewed and selected by community and University of Minnesota reviewers.
With foundational support from Community Health Collaborative funding, previous grantees have gone on to apply their research to statewide-policymaking and advance research to combat adolescent obesity, among other accomplishments in health science.
