Apply conceptual knowledge by addressing informed consent planning, recruitment, the informed consent form, the process, and documentation.

Training is offered in two ways:

Part of the suite of in-person training during Foundations for Research Professionals.

A stand-alone training session, which is offered periodically throughout the year. Contact crctrain@umn.edu for information on upcoming sessions.
Session 2: Informed consent with vulnerable populations

Practice applying regulations, policies, and informed consent process skills applicable to your research with vulnerable populations (e.g., children or adults with absent, diminished, or fluctuating capacity to consent).

Immerse yourselves in the challenges and collaborative problem-solving that reflect the reality of research with vulnerable populations.
