Accessing CTSI Resources
CTSI is a one-stop-shop providing streamlined access to specialized resources and training to facilitate top-tier collaborative clinical translational science research. Initial consultations are free of charge for investigator-initiated and industry-sponsored studies.
Clinical Translational Research Services
CTRS provides a wide range of pre-award and post-award services including:
- consultation on available CTSI resources
- grant preparation (proposal design and budgeting)
- statistical collaboration and consultation
- regulatory assistance (FDA, IRB applications; clinical trial monitoring)
- study implementation services (staffing, facilities)
Funding:
Pilot funding will be available for the following:
- to facilitate bench-to-bedside translational
- to assist investigators in generating preliminary data
- foster community-based research
- to increase the likelihood for successful K to R grant applications.
Education and training:
The Education, Training and Research Career Development (EdTRCD) Program is a comprehensive, integrated, flexible resource that engages a broad and diverse spectrum of learners and empowers them to pursue clinical translational science research throughout their careers.
Community-based resources:
The Office of Community Engagement for Health helps University researchers, healthcare organizations, and communities throughout Minnesota work together to identify crucial research questions, develop and carry out studies to answer them, and apply the results to enhance health and reduce health disparities.
Innovation and translational research resources:
The Office for Discovery and Translation provides resources and expertise for bench-to-bedside translation, including:
- consultation and review of research ideas and data for assessing T1 translational potential
- linking promising projects with other investigators/technologists to increase translation potential
- supporting new translational initiatives in the early stage of development and innovative research
