The mission of CTSI is to improve the health of our communities through collaborative clinical and translational research. CTSI:
- provides comprehensive support to research teams - from preclinical research to clinical research to community-based research
- focuses on research important to our communities through an engaged scholarship model
- educates the next generation of clinical translational science research teams.
CTSI Opens in April
The first implementation phase focuses on improved service to research teams working on investigator-initiated and industry-sponsored studies. CTSI's Clinical Translational Research Services provide streamlined access to a wide range of services and resources - including research facilities, biostatistics consultation, and regulatory support - to University and community-based researchers.
CTSI's Research Project Managers (RPMs) can help you access CTSI resources and expertise. Initial consultations are free of charge.
CTSI's next implementation phase will focus on education, community engagement, and early-stage translational work. This includes providing flexible education and career development opportunities in clinical translational science research, developing an engaged scholarship model of community collaboration, and advancing bench-to-bedside translation.
